Asparagus or spaghetti beans are becoming increasingly popular. This exotic bean forms green, very slender and tender pods. The beans grow up to 60cm long, but are usually harvested and prepared as young and tender pods at just 30cm. The plant originates from Africa and Asia, which gives it good heat tolerance. As a runner bean that grows up to 3 metres high, it produces high yields in a small space.
